When life feels overwhelming.

I wrote this most recent column as a response to a lot of folks I knew who just feel like they are burned out on all the responsibilities they have in life. Take a read and tell me what you think.

This post couldn't have come at a more appropriate time, so thank you! I do look for those Shabbat "moments" when I can, so I don't feel overwhelmed by work, a flat tire, caring for a parent's home, volunteering, etc.

By reminding myself to slow down, I can try to take the projects bit by bit. I find Shabbat in moments like a quiet walk with the dogs, reading the Torah, writing, and even cooking. It can be as simple as watching for seasonal plant changes or pausing for the sunset. Looking for those moments with "spark" and celebrating them bring me peace.
